Jesus wants people to truly see Him as the Bread of Life so He ties it to the miracle of feeding the 5000. But, for the people to go deeper and get past the initial miracle into the reality, they have to cross over to the other side and see Him from heaven’s perspective. Jesus is offering the hungry true supernatural bread, revelations of Him and His goodness that are reserved or hidden for the hungry. They are given to anyone willing to cross-over and completely trust Him with our whole life.
