“In love”
There are two main words for love in scripture:
Agapao > Agape [Spirit]
Phileo [Soul]
Agapao: to love as a direction of the will; true commitment beyond emotion. Used of God’s love to man and man to God.
Phileo: based on common interest and emotional connection. Never used God’s love to man. Which of these loves is the world going after and which is the church? Is there a healthy balance of these two loves? How do we come into alignment with God’s love for us and then through us to all of creation?
